Grays Dental Care Services

We offer a range of services to enhance your smile from general restorative and preventative dentistry to cosmetic procedures and even referral to our specialist team Manchester Dental Specialists for more complex treatment options.

Cosmetic Dentistry

You no longer have to put up with the appearance of your teeth! Almost anything is possible. New techniques and materials mean that you can improve your smile often with non invasive cosmetic treatments. Old silver (amalgam) fillings can be replaced with white (composite) fillings. Crowns, veneers and bridges can be used to improve the appearance of your teeth and your comfort if replacing dentures. Your teeth can be whitened. Ask your dentist next time you visit the practice for more information.

Missing Teeth

We can provide you with several solutions to replace a missing tooth and so fill a gap - dentures, bridges or the most up to date option, implants.

Bridgework - in may circumstances, when there are gaps in your bite or smile, then a bridge is an ideal alternative to a removable denture. A bridge is a fixed restoration replacing the missing teeth. This means that the replacement is permanent and not removable and offers an aesthetic and user friendly way of restoring spaces

Dentures - our practice has a special interest in the provsion of dentures. Dentures can be a problem because of appearance, retention or poor function. We work in conjunction with nationally accredited specialist prosthodontic laboratories to produce dentures that are comfortable, aesthetic and functional. We cater for patients with both complete and partial dentures and we design both acrylic and metal based dentures. Our aim is to produce a finished result that looks natural.

Implants are as close as possible to having your own teeth again. Implants can be used to replace missing teeth or retain dentures. If you have lost a single tooth then an implant is the ideal solution to restore a gap without affecting adjacent teeth. If you have lost more than one tooth then an implant retained bridge is a possibility. If you have a mouth which does not retain dentures well then implants will provide the solution.

Dental Health

Hygienists are skilled and specially trained to treat and monitor your periodontal (gum) health. They will work with you and advise on the most appropriate programme to compliment your visit. They will help you maintain the health, appearance and condition of your teeth and gums.

The practice has acquired the latest ultrasonic equipment to make your treatment more comfortable and help you maintain and improve your oral health.
