Health
We take every precaution to safeguard patients and staff whilst at the practice. We follow all current guidelines relating to Health & Safety as well as COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and X-Rays (IRMER - Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000). We operate within the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines and we have been awarded the Good Practice Accreditation from the British Dental Association.
Cross Infection
We are proud of our Cross Infection Policy which complies with current best practice guidelines as defined by the British Dental Association. Where possible, disposable items are used and disposed of after each patient. Otherwise all other items and instruments are cleaned and then sterilised in an autoclave after each and every use.
Continuing Postgraduate Education
All our dentists keep abreast of the latest changes that occur within the field of dentistry and undertake continuing post graduate education in excess of the requirements of the General Dental Council.
Clinical Governance
Clinical Governance refers to a range of activities and systems that ensure the practice delivers a consistently high quality of both treatment of and service to our patients. At Gray's Dental Care we have embraced clinical governance as an ongoing process in advance of it becoming a statutory requirement.
